Pablo alto

Pablo alto is a synth-forward indie rock collaboration between songwriter / guitarist Sergio Luna and jazz pianist Pulsar Li. Their music leans heavily into their vastly disparate musical backgrounds and channels the likes of Radiohead, Tortoise, and Grizzly Bear. Formed in Chicago in 2023, they have collaborated with numerous artists as they experiment with a wide palette of sounds and instruments. Across their 2026 debut album, Octaplume, which explores a wide range of styles and textures, drummer Ben Greenwood's aggressive syncopation provokes interaction akin to modern jazz music within a sound world associated with more experimental music, and on forms and structures associated with pop and rock.
